Ziyam Abdeen

Ziyam Abdeen is a highly accomplished IT Director and cybersecurity expert with over 18 years of industry experience spanning enterprise network security, infrastructure management, ICT education, and digital solutions consulting. As the Director and Strategic Advisor at Sprit Network (Pvt) Ltd, Ziyam brings a wealth of technical leadership to the organization, guiding its cybersecurity frameworks, compliance strategy, and digital development initiatives.

Ziyam’s extensive background includes high-level certifications such as MCSE, CCNP, CCNA, CEH, and ITIL, and a Master’s degree in Cyber Security from the University of Gloucestershire. His career has bridged hands-on engineering, executive IT leadership, and national-level training, positioning him as a driving force in both the operational and educational dimensions of ICT in Sri Lanka and beyond.

In addition to his advisory role at Sprit Network, Ziyam is the Chairman and Director of WinSYS Networks (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading institutions for cybersecurity education and IT training. His work also extends internationally through his role as a National Trainer, Coach, and Mentor with the International Trade Centre (UN Project), where he supports ICT talent development in Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Bangladesh.
